This session will delve into the evolving inspection regime, primarily operated by Service Canada, under the LMIA and IMP (Offer of Employment) categories. This session will primarily focus on the new COVID-19-related regulatory conditions for employers.

- Overview of the “old”/regular compliance regime under LMIA and IMP
- Overview of the “new” regime
- New employer conditions (compliance under the Emergencies Act and Quarantine Act, compliance with provincial health responses and retention of wages during self-isolation or quarantine)
