Presented by CBA Futures
Innovation within the legal sector can be complex. Challenging legal regulatory frameworks and restrictive rules around how technology interacts with legal service providers can be a huge issue.
The solution – consider the legal sandbox. Currently run by a number of provinces, legal sandboxes provide a safe space for innovation with greater flexibility in regulations on new legal products or services that could potentially benefit the public.
Panellists for this discussion include Len Polsky from the Law Society of Alberta, Will Morrison from the Law Society of Ontario, and successful sandbox applicant in BC, Julia Staffen from Willful.
