Implementing Indigenous Rights — Where are we going?
This year’s event looks to the future of implementing Indigenous rights. With a diverse faculty of leading practitioners and Indigenous leaders who will look at what’s currently happening across the country with updates from all regions and examining the promise of UNDRIP as the Federal government moves to implement it in Canada.
Join a panel of community leaders, lawyers and government negotiators who will share their perspective on how we get to self-government and learn about unilateral implementation of Indigenous rights and self-help remedies as we discuss “proceedings or protests?"
Connect with expert panelists who will illuminate the path toward recognizing and applying Indigenous laws in the national and local context and discover the current trends in Federal policy on resolving Indigenous rights disputes, trends in Federal Court practice and so much more.
