Understanding the Orders in Council and Travel Restrictions: Reuniting Family Members, Business Travelers and Employer Obligations
This panel will discuss when it is safe to tell your clients to travel considering travel restrictions. Learn what your clients need to have with them before they depart for Canada, and what they need to do when they arrive in Canada. The panel will also explore specific scenarios related to business travelers, foreign workers and immediate family members of Canadian citizens, permanent residents and foreign workers. Find out what type of self isolation plans are acceptable and when and how to make a request for an exemption from self isolation.
