By the end of your first year as a competition lawyer, you will know the ins and outs of the Competition Bureau branches and role of officers and economists, but you may have less knowledge about the Competition Bureau Legal Services of the Department of Justice, and the Competition Law Section of the Public Prosecution Service of Canada. Please join us for a fireside chat with Debbie Johnston, Executive Director and Senior General Counsel of CBLS, and former prosecutor with the PPSC. We will discuss topics, such as the mandates of CBLS and CLS, the interfaces between CBLS and CLS with the Competition Bureau, matters that CBLS and CLS work on, and opportunities to join CBLS and CLS.
