RESOLVING DILEMMAS AND AVOIDING PREDICAMENTS:
NOT-FOR-PROFIT PRACTICE MANAGEMENT AND ETHICS DISCUSSION

Presented by the Charities and Not-for-Profit Law Section

12:30pm-1:30pm Eastern Time

This panel style discussion will explore how certain ethics, professional responsibility and practice management issues arise in the context of advising not-for-profit organizations. Panel members will discuss their experiences from a variety of contexts, including in-house and external counsel roles. Topics for discussion include serving on NFP boards, clarifying the solicitor-client relationship, practice management tips for unsophisticated or cost-sensitive clients, and client communications during the COVID19 pandemic. The panel will strive to answer questions from the audience, particularly where they are submitted in advance.

Participants are encouraged to please send any relevant questions to pd@cba.org.
