This joint program with the Foreign Investment Review Committee, the Young Lawyers Committee, the IRD and the CSIR will provide an in-depth look at the application for review process and will highlight what Young Lawyers should consider when drafting an application, assisting an investor with submitting its business plans or negotiating undertakings with the IRD or CSIR. Listeners are encouraged to submit questions to dsalzberger@mccarthy.ca and peter.flynn@blakes.com in advance of, or during, the brownbag. The Investment Review Division encourages lawyers with detailed or technical questions relating to specific files or application form technicalities to submit such questions directly to the Investment Review Division rather than through this Brownbag session.
