TOPIC: Understanding Manitoba’s CFS Act and proceedings and its implications for Family Division proceedings
SPEAKER: Shameem Koshy, Cochrane Saxberg LLP

This CPD will be focused on understanding Manitoba’s CFS legislation and system and specifically, implications for family law proceedings.  This session will include a brief overview of the CFS system in Manitoba, understanding abuse investigations, use of CFS records in Family Division proceedings and the role of CFS agencies in guardianship applications and adoption applications.  

RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). Non-members may attend for a cost of $150.
