Bring a Buddy Months - In April and May 2023 consider bringing a non-member buddy to a Section Meeting. Sections provide opportunities for lawyers to further their professional education and to keep ahead of current developments within the profession. The MBA wants to show non-members what they're missing!!

TOPIC: Legal Research and Municipal Law: The City of Winnipeg

The Legal Research Section invites you to join us for a presentation from Doug Brown, the Director of Legal Services–City Solicitor at the City of Winnipeg to discuss legal research and municipal law. Mr. Brown will specifically review navigating the City of Winnipeg’s by-laws and regulations.

Please RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). 

At approximately 9:30am on Thursday, April 13, 2023 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting.  

Attendance at this MBA meeting can be applied toward your Law Society of Manitoba Continuing Professional Development for a maximum of one hour.
