ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT
The new Legal Professions Act has several implications on how lawyers are regulated. CBABC is concerned the legislation does not maintain lawyer independence and it does not address the problem of access to legal services.
Sign up for an engagement session to learn about and discuss the Act. CBABC will draw on your feedback as we continue to engage with government on these developments.
ACKNOWLEDGING FIRST NATIONS TERRITORIES
This webinar is hosted by CBABC, which is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage our members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada, past and present.
