Synopsis
British Columbia’s newly appointed Information and Privacy Commissioner Michael Harvey takes office at a time when public and private sector privacy breaches and cyberattacks are surging.
Access to information rights, meanwhile, are central to the growing discourse on trust in public institutions and efforts to combat disinformation. Commissioner Harvey will discuss the urgency of his mandate, and his priorities at the start of his six-year term.

We encourage members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada past and present.
