Synopsis

In April 2022, the Canadian Centre for Elder Law (CCEL) is re-publishing its Practical Guide to Elder Abuse and Neglect Law in Canada as a searchable website with modules on the law and policy in each province and territory and links to other CCEL elder abuse resources. In this session CCEL National Director Krista James will highlight some key aspects of the law in BC and provide an overview of the Guide and how you can use it to support your work.

This event will be broadcast from the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam First Nations.
