About Marina Sedai
Marina L. Sedai is a past National Chair (2018-2019) of the Canadian Bar Association Immigration Section and past provincial chair of the CBA BC Immigration Law Section. Marina has been practising exclusively in immigration and citizenship law since 2005. Her clients are employers, families, and individual workers, students, and visitors. She represents on a wide range of immigration and citizenship applications. She is a frequent public speaker locally, nationally, and internationally."
About Sara Forte
Sara Forte is an employment lawyer, and has practiced exclusively in the areas of employment/labour law, and workplace human rights since 2004. Solving work-related legal problems is one of the things she does best, from hiring to firing, and everything in between.
Sara grew up in Langley, BC. After attending law school in Ontario and working and living in Vancouver for a few years, her valley girl roots brought her back home to South Surrey to raise her own young family. She kept working in Vancouver, and spent many hours on the 351 bus and Canada Line. After 12 years of working for leading firms in Vancouver, she took the leap in November 2016 to open her own firm near her home in Surrey.
About Erin Brandt
Erin is an employment and human rights lawyer. Her motivation to co-found PortaLaw was driven by her desire to radically improve the delivery of legal services. She wants to throw away the traditional idea that lawyers sell time and replace it with a commitment to provide legal solutions with a transparent price tag. Erin is innovative, creative, compassionate, hard-working and fair. She wants to help you – business owners and workers – find joy in what you do.
About Edith Szilagyi
Edith is a lawyer with almost 11 years of practice experience. She opened Nova Law in May 2016 and specifically focuses on family law, as well as wills and estates. She chose to focus on these two practice areas, because she wanted to be proficient in providing competent, knowledgeable legal advice to her clients.
