While Alberta continues to lead Canada in renewable investment, renewable developers are encountering increased interest and scrutiny that have culminated in numerous policy and regulatory uncertainties. From the Alberta Utilities Commission’s renewable approvals pause to the Government of Alberta’s ongoing consultation on Transmission Policy, we will explore the key initiatives affecting the regulatory landscape for renewable development in Alberta.
