Should you Include an ADR or Arbitration Clause in your Contract? An Open Discussion
Presented by the CBA Alberta Alternative Dispute Resolution North Section
On Demand. Originally presented on October 24, 2024
While it may often be a good idea to include a clause forcing the parties to use one or more ADR processes to resolve any disputes related to the contract, this may sometimes produce unanticipated issues. Whether or not it is a good idea to use this type of clause will likely depend on the type of contract, area of law, and issues that the contract deals with. Listen and be informed by the experience of others.
