Please join us in welcoming Ivan Derer, K.C. to lead this important discussion.  Drawing on his extensive experience serving as mediator, Ivan will take us on a deeper dive and straight talk about what is going well, and more particularly, problematic patterns in the practice of mediation and how to effectively address them.  We will discuss issues and considerations that rarely see the light of day in presentations such as this.  The discussion will be relevant to mediation of disputes in a wide cross-section of areas – commercial, personal injury, insurance, construction, professional negligence, family, amongst others.
