
The Bill C-92 Reference Decision: Implications for Practitioners

The Supreme Court of Canada recently released its long-awaited decision in Reference re An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth and families, 2024 SCC 5. This decision has implications for various areas of Aboriginal Law and beyond. This will be a panel discussion with two practitioners that will analyze the decision and provide their insight about the importance of the decision and how lawyers will be able to use this decision to advance the interests of their First Nation clients.
