The Future of Real Estate Practice
Jay Krushell will speak about the future of the residential real estate practice in Alberta and across Canada. Specific topics will include discussions about title and mortgage fraud and how law societies, law firms, and private companies have adapted in an ever-increasing virtual world to identify and avoid such fraud. Jay will also discuss developments in Ontario which has allowed law firms to branch out to offer entirely virtual residential real estate deals, and considerations that Alberta lawyers should have regarding these developments.
