Federal Impact Assessment and the Impact Assessment Act – Where Have We Been and Where Do We Go Next?

Brad and Bruce represented Alberta at the Alberta Court of Appeal and recently at the Supreme Court of Canada in respect of a reference case concerning the constitutionality of the federal Impact Assessment Act.  This presentation will review the primary legal arguments of the main parties, the Alberta Court of Appeal decision and the speakers' views on what to expect next in respect of the Impact Assessment Act.
