The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot: An Alternative Path For Immigration Into Canada
Presented by the CBA Alberta Immigration Law North Section
On Demand. Originally presented on September 20, 2023.
The presenter is a co-founder of TalentLift, a Toronto-based non-profit that supports Canadian employers in hiring and bringing into Canada skilled refugees from across the world. As a co-founder of TalentLift, the presenter is very well positioned to speak about a flagship initiative of this organization: partnership with the federal immigration department to facilitate the re-settlement of skilled refugees as economic immigrants, with confirmed job offers in Canada, through the recently launched Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot. All immigration law practitioners will benefit from learning in-depth about this innovative program to offer an alternative path for immigration into Canada for displaced populations who are highly skilled and educated and carry a strong economic potential.
