
Medical Ethics and Philosophies of Care
Dr. Cheryl Mack is an anesthesiologist/pediatric palliative care doctor at the Stollery Children’s Hospital and the chair of the clinical ethics committee for the University of Alberta Hospital. Cheryl will address challenges presented by the "goals of care" model for substitute decision makers and instead talk about philosophies of care with a view to improving understanding for substitute decision makers, including highlighting resources available to counsel and substitute decision makers.
