Steps To Safety: Fall and Fire Prevention
Presented by the CBA Alberta Elder Law South Section
On Demand. Originally presented on October 12, 2023.
At age 65, people are twice as likely to be killed or injured by fires compared to the population at large. Do you or your loved ones have a safety plan? Do you know what to do in case of fire or immediate evacuation? Do you know where to keep your private estate documents? Do you know where to keep or how to best keep your important information? Join Randy Chevier, community safety officer for the Calgary Fire Department for his informative, and potentially life-saving information that is crucial to seniors, clients, businesses, people, and lawyers in general. The presentation will focus on 16 key safety messages, eight of which are related to fire prevention and eight of which are related to fall prevention. Attending may save the lives of those you love!
