SCC and Legislative Update

A review of the past year of the top Supreme Court of Canada criminal case and legislation amendments to the Criminal Code. Cases will include Sharma, Nodhlovu, Tessier, Schneider, Kirkpatrick, Sullivan/Brown, Tim, Stairs, Lafrance, and legislative updates including Bill C-5 – repealing MMPs for firearms and drug offences and other amendments, and Bill S-4 – allowing for expanded use of video appearance in court.
