Health Law and Reconciliation
Michelle Robinson, Sahtu Dene, and Co-chair of the MMIWG2 YYC Committee will speak on practical issues affecting lawyers and practitioners within Alberta. Michelle will address various struggles which many Indigenous individuals face when dealing with doctors, lawyers, and the medical-legal community, and the practical ways in which lawyers and practitioners can approach these interactions with greater knowledge, understanding, and compassion in order to foster a much deeper solicitor-client relationship.
