Giving Summary Legal Advice.

Everyone has cold calls and first meetings, with clients new and old, where we are called upon to give advice quickly and safely. Tim Patterson from Edmonton Community Legal Centre joins the Section this month with advice and encouragement about providing summary legal advice, from the unique perspective of ECLC's clinical practice. Learn about preparation, establishing rapport, striking the balance between doing too much and too little, and overcoming barriers to giving your clients summary advice.
