SYNOPSIS

Equity, power and privilege intersect to shape our work and the world around us. Examine the layers of your identity and how they impact your experiences in this interactive workshop. Collaborate with other lawyers to apply intersectionality as a lens for problem solving, assessing ongoing work and strategizing for the future.

About Monique Nicholas
Monique has a background in communications and is passionate about using storytelling and relationship-building to facilitate community action. She is energized by grassroots-led movements, embedding equity into our policies, and the intersection of arts and advocacy. She lives, works, and swims on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded land of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
